The manufactured housing industry in Michigan is a model for the nation. The sales of manufactured homes
have made the industry a contributor to almost one-quarter of the state's new housing starts. It's a
dynamic business, and the career opportunities and rewards are growing every day.
If you would like to dedicate your career to helping Michigan and the nation with affordable, quality housing, we welcome you to apply for a scholarship or grant.
What types of careers are there?
Like most major industries, there are careers in engineering, marketing, architecture, management and human resources . . . any career discipline that would service the needs of this large industry.
What types of scholarships and grants are available?
The HARVEST foundation will make financial aid available to students enrolled at any accredited university or college. The amount of the awards may vary based on individual needs and qualifications.
How does a student qualify?
Students must forward a copy of the application to the HARVEST foundation office. The awards will be made based on the applicant's ability to show that his/her educational goals are consistent with industry goals.
The application's presentation and thoroughness weigh heavily. The HARVEST foundation will base its decisions on need and/or merit.
Is there job placement?
The HARVEST foundation will make every effort to coordinate student's full-time or summer job needs with industry members.

When are the applications due?
Applications are due at the HARVEST foundation office no later than March 24, 2010, for the
fall semester of the 2010-2011 academic year. All information must be completed for consideration.
